RIVERIANS collaborate with HTCIANS under the ‘SHARING IS CARING’ and ‘Beating the Chill’ campaign | Social Cause

RIVERIANS collaborate with HTCIANS(Youth Cell) under the ‘SHARING IS  CARING’ and  ‘Beating the Chill’ with Blanket and Old Clothes Distribution Drive . It is a matter of immense pride for DISRC and Hands To Care Welfare Society, Saharanpur (Regd.) to see its students (who are also the members of HTC Youth Cell) taking the initiative to touch the lives of the ones who are no so privileged. 

Soaking in the spirit of 'sharing is caring', the student volunteers took the initiative of contributing and collecting warm clothes and blankets and distributing them among the slum dwellers who reside under the Tons Bridge in Dehradun near Nanda ki Chowki.  

The initiative undertaken by these young people will help in making the poverty-stricken people survive in the harsh winter season. Besides it would also instill a sense of charity among the new generation. The endeavor to share the warmth with the needy  brought smiles to both, the receiver as well as the giver. Indeed, it is a noble gesture that is so sublime.
